🚩 Does Fox consider Carlson a facts-based pundit? Here‘s the answer. In fact, in 2021 he even admitted “I lie if I’m cornered.[…] I certainly do it out of weakness”.
🚩 What does it say about Fox that a newly unsealed legal filing against its execs & top hosts revealed the network to’ve systematically misled its viewers by promoting 2020 “election fraud” claims they admitted privately to be false to stem viewer losses to Newsmax?
🚩 Is it normal for the top-viewed show on “patriotic” Fox to also appeal to the US’ avowed enemies? Carlson has so often launched into potent anti-US screeds or pro-Putin sycophancy that Kremlin officials told their state media it’s “essential” they show clips from his show to their gullible viewers. And Putin’s far from the only ethno-nationalist despot Carlson fawns over either.
🚩 A new study paid Fox viewers to watch CNN for 30 days & found “significant shifts in their factual beliefs, perceptions of issues, and political views” at the end. Viewers became more skeptical of hyperpartisan coverage & inclined to agree Fox wouldn’t cover Donald Trump’s failings.
You DON’T have to be an outrage porn addict. Reclaim your mental health – and that of your loved ones, too – from an endless stream of “alternative facts” and conspiratorial hate-mongering by cutting off Fox and its millionaire demagogues.
