Repack Note: Nobody likes a repack but another day, another new bug found with MakeMKV.
It seems MakeMKV can’t correctly process tsmuxer output (needed to combine the HDR10+ injected base layer with the stock Dolby Vision enhanced layer) without the DV enhanced layer payload data prematurely ending around 55% into the movie mux. There is typically no warning about this on MakeMKV but curiosity about why the video stream was smaller than it should be led to tests on the MakeMKV output and it has indeed corrupted the multiplexing of the base and enhancement DV layers into a merged single layer HEVC stream. Another 3rd party tool was used to merge the base and enhancement layers correctly for this repacked remux.
